The Majestic Empire Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, serves not only as the dedicated steward of San Antonio’s historic Majestic and Empire Theatres but also as a trailblazer in educational transformation throughout South Texas. Originally founded to preserve these iconic cultural landmarks, the Foundation has grown into a dynamic force for student empowerment, providing accessible arts education and life-changing scholarships to students across San Antonio and the Lower Rio Grande Valley. Through these programs, MEF opens doors to higher education and career paths, filling a critical gap left by funding cuts with free, high-quality arts training that builds essential skills like confidence, resilience, problem-solving, and leadership for students in underserved communities.
